it shines too brightly in my eyes
this knowledge i have recieved
im not sure i was meant to know this
im not sure i can handle
this piece of the world
i have chosen to take part in
my hands are not strong enough
to hold such a painful thought
my heart is not brave enough
to keep this knowledge
tucked away for another time
i want to feel this knowledge
i want to forget
but how can one unknow
what has been known
